This is fantastic. Two great boxers who appreciate each other so well. And both were trying to kill each other figuratively in that ring.

Is there an English broadcast anywhere? Because I don't know why there's only a Spanish broadcast on RUclips. But excellent body shot from McClellan though👍

Show this video to people who doubt how big Andre was in his prime. Wepner was a legit 6'5" and Andre is at least 5-6 inches taller than him.

That could be the steroids already effecting his body profoundly. Big guys are more suited for wrestling not boxing. This was a bad fight for Jeep.

I was 16 years-old living in Massachusetts and I've never heard of this match. My dad, uncles, and I loved boxing but this one slipped by. Maybe because it was an exhibition.

There was some bad blood between former stablemates Torres and Floyd Patterson. That would have made for fast-paced, skillful as well as hard-fought bout between the two D'Amato students. But heavyweight was just a little too big for Jose; Floyd just squeeked in, size-wise, and did some great things up there.

Poor Jeep. Shaking his brain around at the beginning. Then after he gets knocked down, he shakes his head some more. A lot of heart in this guy though, and I like him as a person. RIP.

How would Monzon and Halger have got on with these guys? Both of them have a better chance of beating La Motta; however, Robinson is a whole different ball game...

This was kind of a very weird matchup and to say Chuck beat up Andre is a far cry from reality. Doesn’t seem much of anything happened to either. Anytime Andre, a wrestler, grabbed him, the ref broke it up. What’s he supposed to do after that? Big boot to the face every round? Would’ve been dope tho ngl lol

Something that puts in a different league this type of boxers is that they never ran away from a fight and were not scare of getting hit. Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearn, Tito Trinidad, etc., belong yo that league They are nothing like De La Hoya, Camacho, etc., who ran away from fighters

I like how André basically had enough of Wepner's shit and the finish ended up being that André threw Wepner out of the ring like he was getting put in time out or something.

With all the fights he had along with the money he made, at age 45 he was still boxing in small venues vs anybody who dared step in the ring with him. For that reason I saw Sugar Ray fight in my home town in Massachusetts at that time.
